Information for Employers

Local/regional employers are an important component of the FHES careers programme. They are key to enabling us to meet the Gatsby Benchmarks which state students need to have meaningful encounters with employers. We have worked with a very wide range of employers.

Employers can get involved in the following activities:

Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 Careers Mornings
Employers give a 15-minute presentation about their industry/job role and then take questions from students.

Year 10 Mock Interview Morning
Employers interview approximately six students and provide feedback to them.

Year 10 Work Experience
Employers take a student on for a week in their workplace and give them a meaningful encounter of a workplace.
