GCSE Results 2024
We are celebrating the success of our Year 11 students.
We are delighted to share with you the achievements of our Year 11 students in the 2024 GCSE examinations. Despite the challenges that have faced our outgoing Year 11 students' education, they have truly embraced our core values of friendship, courage, resilience and high moral standards and their hard work and determination have truly paid off. We could not be prouder of their accomplishments.
These results show a consistent, positive trajectory of improvement. They are testament to the work ethic of our students and the expertise and relentless dedication of our teaching and support staff, all of whom have worked their socks off this year because they really care about every individual and because they are committed to ensuring we continue on the #RoadToGreatTogether. We would also like to thank all our supportive and encouraging parents and guardians. Your collective effort is crucial in securing success.
As we enter the new academic year, our commitment is to continue to build upon this fantastic and impactful work, striving to ensure every child thrives and fostering an environment of excellence, scholarship and personal development.
Thank you to everyone in our school community for making this achievement possible. #TeamFHES.
If students were unable to come in to school on Results Day, they can send a named representative on their behalf to collect their results or request to receive their results via email. If it is intended that one of the alternative methods will be used, this must be communicated by the student in writing. The statement must include the student's name, the named representative and clear instructions on the method of delivery. Please ensure that the nominated email address is written out clearly if the chosen method is via email. If a named representative will be collecting the results, they must have a valid form of photographic ID. Written statements must be dropped into reception by 12noon on Thursday 18th July 2024. We cannot guarantee a time for results to be released via email but it is likely that they will be sent after midday on the 22nd August.
We are unable to give results out by telephone under any circumstances and results cannot be passed to anyone other than the named student unless we have signed, written permission from the student.
The exam boards have released details of the post results services that will be available this year but fees for this year will not be published until August. The fees listed in the leaflet are indicative and are subject to change. You can find out more information regarding post results services and the form that needs to be completed if you wish to apply for one, at the bottom of this page.
