@TeamFHES - 6/08/2025Days 13 to 17 were spent at Camp Bongkud, where students were welcomed with a traditional bamboo stick dance, which many joined in. They worked on cementing and bricklaying for a new building, cooled off in the river, and hiked up Bongkud Hill at sunrise. #TeamFHES #Borneo25
@TeamFHES - 2/08/2025Over the past few days, we have immersed in the local community at Camp Rumantai. Working on meaningful projects aimed at improving the village, while also building connections through shared experiences—playing volleyball with locals and spending quality time with the children.
@TeamFHES - 28/07/2025An exciting morning at the Orangutan Centre, where the students got the see the impact of their conservation project work, creating better environments for the orangutans in the wild.
We also visited the Sun Bear Conservation centre, learning about another endangered species
@TeamFHES - 27/07/2025The impact Team FHES have made! Students followed a full circle, from site clearing, to planting trees, seed collecting and then seed planting. Students have fully embraced their first project work, support Kopel! Alongside this, sleeping two nights in hammocks in the jungle!
