Admissions for Entry into Year 7, September 2026
The Admissions Policy for 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 was determined by the WMAT Trustees on 3 February 2025 and can be found under Downloads at the bottom of this page. Admissions Policies are reviewed annually.
Applications for secondary school must be made between 1 September and 31 October of each year. Places at Surrey secondary schools will be offered on the basis of the preferences that are shown on the application form. Parents will be asked to rank up to six preferences ( Surrey only, for other authorities this number may be smaller) and these will be considered under an equal preference system.

The school will offer 210 places for September 2026. However, children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) that names the school will be allocated a place before other applicants are considered. In this way, the number of places available will be reduced by the number of children with a statement that has named the school.
If you applied on time by 31 October, you will receive communication from your Home Local Authority around 2 March 2026 with the outcome of your application.
If you are a Surrey resident, once you have been offered a school place, you must accept or decline this offer by 16 March. If you do not accept or decline the place, the offer may be withdrawn. If you are a resident under other Local Authorities (not Surrey), they may not require you to accept the place and we ask that you follow the instructions given to you by them.
If you missed the above window (1 September until 31 October) for registering an application to join us, please contact your Home Local Authority to register a late request.
Waiting List:
